Making Waves was created through the Margate Bookie Young Producers Programme. During Lockdown 2020, Carly Maling, Crow Rudd, Pernela Chea and Louise Devismes - got together to work on a series of three events for the Margate Bookie Literary Festival. And due to its success, Making Waves continued all the way into 2023.
